CLEAR BY DESIGN

The details, without the noise.

Your information. Explained.

01

Information we process

Your email address, account identifier and authentication information are processed to create and secure your account. Profile and goal information you enter, including age, sex, height and weight, supports nutrition and activity calculations.

Food and meal diaries, water and weight entries, activity and workout records, saved meals, favorites and settings are stored on your device and synchronized with your account for app functionality.

02

Searches, photos & Community

Food searches and barcodes are sent to food lookup services. Camera access is requested for scanning or capturing a product image. Images, product descriptions and submission details you choose to submit are transmitted for review; approved contributions may become part of the public food catalog.

Do not include personal or health information in public product contributions. Community posts and interactions you submit are processed to provide Community features; published content is visible to its intended audience.

03

Permissions & service providers

Android camera and notification permissions are requested when needed. Phone notifications require permission and an active subscription. When enabled, Firebase Cloud Messaging processes an installation/device identifier and push token; the notification service stores registration and delivery status. You can turn off phone notifications while keeping eligible in-app Bell notifications. General Community phone delivery is not represented as enabled by this policy.

Supabase provides authentication, account data and file storage. Firebase/Google provides mobile messaging. The configured authentication email provider handles account email. VEZVO food services process searches and product submissions. Providers receive the data needed for their functions and network metadata such as IP addresses.

VEZVO includes Google's Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) and User Messaging Platform (UMP). In the locally prepared VEZVO 1.0.1 Android testing candidate (version code 9, with 12 interface languages), ad delivery is disabled by an application readiness gate. Including these SDKs does not mean that an ad has been displayed or that this build is publicly available.

UMP may contact Google's consent service to update consent information and show a message where required. When the advertising SDK is initialized and advertising is enabled, Google may process IP addresses (which can indicate approximate location), advertising or other device identifiers, app/ad interactions and diagnostic information for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Disabling ad delivery is not a promise that consent services or all SDK-related processing are absent. The reviewed app does not request Android location permission.

VEZVO's ad requests are configured as non-personalized when ad delivery is enabled. Non-personalized ads can still involve device storage, identifiers and consent requirements. VEZVO does not add health measurements, food diaries, goals, account identifiers, keywords or custom targeting to its ad requests. Firebase Analytics and VEZVO production analytics collection are off in the reviewed build; this is separate from advertising measurement or diagnostics performed by an SDK.

Firebase App Check with Google Play Integrity is configured to verify that API requests come from a legitimate app/device. This involves app/device integrity signals and attestation tokens for service protection, separately from advertising and health records. Provider-held attestation or messaging records are not all erased by VEZVO account deletion.

Security & your choices

Release connections use HTTPS. Account access controls protect cloud records, and authentication credentials use secure device storage. Local records remain until removed by the app or its data is cleared. Device security remains important; no system can guarantee absolute security.

You can edit supported records in the app, choose whether to submit images or public content, and revoke Android permissions. VEZVO is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Where Google requires a privacy-options entry, open More → Advertising privacy in VEZVO to review or change your choices, including withdrawing consent where the form offers it. The app checks Google's permission to request ads as well as its own readiness gate. Changes affect future permitted processing; they do not automatically erase data already processed by a provider. Android also offers advertising-ID reset or deletion controls on supported versions. Camera and notification permissions are separate from advertising consent. You can contact us if the privacy-options entry is not available or you have a privacy request.

05

Retention & deletion

Account-linked data is retained while the account is active unless removed through available controls. Request deletion in More → Delete account or on the account deletion page, without installing the app. Verify ownership with your password or the available email verification method and confirm deletion.

An accepted request blocks the account while personal records, account-linked files, notification registrations, authored Community content and the Auth identity are removed. Failed cleanup remains pending and can be resumed; an incomplete request is not presented as complete.

Other current-version installations clear local account data when they next connect and detect deletion. Offline devices cannot be remotely erased. Unlinked public food catalog contributions and records held independently by other providers may remain.

While a deletion request is pending, its server record retains the account identifier, a random receipt hash, state and attempt timestamps so cleanup can resume. It is not marked complete until the required cleanup succeeds. Completion removes the account identifier from that receipt. The existing completion and pending-job procedures remove completed receipts that meet their age-based cleanup condition when those procedures run; this is not an exact removal deadline or proof of a current successful cleanup run.

Community publishing with in-app Bell notifications is active. Protected administrative approval and publication audit records are separate from ordinary profile and diary data.

The mobile publication audit retention update is installed, and minimization of future records has been explicitly enabled. New records on this path omit the actor account identifier and the published-content snapshot; request and post identifiers, hashes, timestamps, audience information and execution evidence remain. This reduces personal data; it does not make every retained field anonymous.

Historical protected records can still contain an actor identifier and content snapshot. Their retention or authorized disposition requires separate decisions and respects applicable holds. Audit erasure through account deletion has not been enabled. R4 approval records and other protected audit records are not automatically deleted when an account is deleted. Immutability supports accountability; it does not itself establish a legal requirement or justify indefinite retention.

Security and transport logs can contain IP addresses, request metadata and security events for operating and protecting the service. Cloudflare hosts this website; Supabase, Firebase/Google, the authentication email provider and the API hosting operator can hold separate operational records.

Database exports and provider backups can contain older account data. These separate copies are outside the account-deletion API. Provider log expiry, backup rotation and deletion controls after a restore have not been verified here. Installing the controlled mobile audit retention mechanism does not set an automatic expiry for historical records. No automatic erasure or fixed retention deadline for these copies is promised.

Google handles data retained by its services under its applicable policies; deleting a VEZVO account or changing UMP choices does not itself delete those provider records. Contact support@loxter.ai about retained data; a request does not itself guarantee erasure of a protected or provider-held copy.
